thought it looked a bit like a Palatnik owl but could be anything..

Is it hollow or solid? How big is it? How is the decor applied? What is the base like?

unless you've inverted the picture, I've found it's mirror twin (diagonals run in opposite directions).

although it doesn't show up on flickr direct, if you navigate to this via google it shows the picture title as "My 2 Abraham Palatnik Owls", so unless this was you, someone shares your view

Is it glass? All the Palatnik owls I can find are described as Lucite which is a type of plastic rather than glass.
