can anyone help me with this sig..drinking glass, blue with clear base and stem. the clear glass has a greenish tinge to it..any idea who the sig belongs too and why it has a greenish tinge ? Thank you.

I wonder if the only reason the signature has a green tint to is is because someone tried to make it more distinct by rubbing it with some green marker or something. I can't make out any names I know, and can only get the more obvious letters out of the sig. To me, it doesn't look like a glass that I would expect to find a signature but that's not saying much. Is that a big bubble in the foot?

the clear glass has a tinge to it cuby, the sig i rubbed with pencil to try and show it better..yes that is a large bubble.the sig i cant make out at all antiquerose..i thought maybe C - l but its soooo hard !

Jean I find that straight on shots of the signature rarely work well - especially if they are unclear. The distortion due to refraction of the galss and the colours and shapes coming through the glass make is hard to decide. What I try to do in that case is to take the signature from a very shallow angle so the glass reflects light(try to find somewhere where the rflection is monochrome) and the signature shows black against the surroounding glass. The pencil trick seems to work best where the base is rough (not smooth) and the signature then shows out light against darker surrounds. Finally the talc trick often works well in a situation like yours. Scrub off the pencil as much as you can, dry carefully, then lightly fill the signature with talc. Hopefully on of these will give a better signature.
I would say the first name starts as Cl or Ch. The second seems to be Gxx where x is a vowel but I can't decide which one.
