Title: Czech? or just a pretty vase?
Post by: Catisfaction on September 11, 2010, 02:58:16 AM
This gorgeous vase, frosted on the outside and crystal on the inside with a cherry and leaves motif reminds me a lot of an Inwald piece I had a while back. Does anyone know if it's related?

It's 6 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" diameter at the rim.

For the record I believe I have located an ID for the origin of this vase. I came across a bowl in the thrift store the other day with the same pattern/finish that had a made in Japan label. Once I get photo's taken (yes I spent $5 on a bowl I didn't want just for the ID rofl) I will post them here for future reference.

It's probably Hoya Crystal then, and I think it's the pattern marketed by Mikasa as "Bountiful". http://www.replacements.com/webquote/MICBOU.htm#359076
