Curiosity got the better of me, so I bought this from a local charity shop, which is where it will most likely be returned to, unless I decide to use it as a rather grand bird feeder for the garden ;D Frosted white, approximately 12" diameter and extremely heavy at 2.7kg. The thing that interested me, was the central "platform". Has anyone seen one of these please and if so, who made it and what might have sat on top?

What I found interesting is those L shaped lugs low down that the lamp photos showed must be to hold the rather large frog firmly in place. A rather neat bit of design rather than the usual neat fit a conventional frog uses.
