What Ho! Can anybody help me with this vase please. It is 8" tall and I think made in 2 pieces, a conical foot with the vase fitted on top. The whole piece is ribbed. The foot It has a continual trail glass running round the vase, its very light weigh and rings well. It has quite a lot of small bubbles in it and it looks arts and crafts period to me. T.I.A. Wolfie

This is recent replication of so called "forest glass" (Waldglas), made in Czech republic - see
http://gotikglas.wz.cz/sampusky-200069.html
it is written there that this glass is replication of 14th century Swedish glass...
Sorry I am too bussy to look for producer - when you will google for "LESNI SKLO" you will find it.

What Ho! Thanks for that. Hideously disappointing, never mind. Good job it was cheap ;D ;D
