Post by: shineyobjects on October 09, 2010, 10:49:24 AM
This glass weights a ton and it's beautiful! It's about 30cms high looks swedish smooth base anyone know what it is? It's priced at £80. Sorry about the picture I'm on my phone.

looks more like a Jablonski piece to me. For 80 pounds I'd want full attribution and signature.

Yup - looks a lot like the Chinese fare being sold by TK Maxx for the last year or so.

Thanks, I wont buy it then I thought I would go home and think about it.

It just grabbed my eye! It was so thick and heavy. I just wanted to make sure first.

I was out this morning around some "Antique" centres.  Saw several nice Chinese pieces being sold as "vintage this and that" for prices from £60 - 80!!!!

They are very eye-catching that's for sure. ::)

How odd chris maybe your pc don't like imageshack for some odd reason? I normally up load them on here but I couldn't don't it via my phone. Thanks for the input I wish I got more pictures now but I did not want them thinking I was a oddball.  I think for now on if in doubt run!!

I don't think it helps that they feature regularly on Bargain Hunt (and similar) as vintage Murano ("You can tell by the bright artistic colours that this is classic 1960s Murano").
