Hi! This forum was recommended to me. I'm a newcomer on here so first of all 'Hello!'.
I'm hoping that you'll be able to ID this wine glass/goblet.
I bought it for my mother in an antique shop whilst I was in Scotland this year. It caught my eye as being a little different.
We're wondering whether it could be Czech as I've seen pieces in a similar colour from there. I'm not sure though - the Czech's aren't exactly know for their wine! We're both very curious about it and would love to know what it is for certain!
I'd also like a rough idea of how much it's worth. We wouldn't sell it, but I'd like to know whether or not I got a bargain!
Thanks :)

It's about as German as it gets - possibly by Theresienthal.

Thanks Ivo :) I've been googling Theresienthal :D
Could you give me a rough age on it?
Also, are there other makers that it could possibly be by? I'm trying to find an image of a matching one, and as much other information as possible! Bohemian glass is a new area for me.

try googling "roemer" it should bring up a ton of these. Time is any time between 1880 and yesterday. And please note Germany is not Bohemia.

Thanks again Ivo - I'll look into that now.
I must be having a slow day - I was thinking of Bavaria but typed Bohemia ::) :)
