A very heavy piece, etched to the base with "squirrel", "BME" and what looks like "C580".

Someone here will decode your Caithness piece in detail, I'm sure.

I don't think anyone knows how to decode those vases or even find out who the designers of the motifs were.   :-\

This is the caithness squirrel I know of.
