Hi Ho Everyone!!!
Could anyone possibly Help ID this lovely Deep Blue Bowl? Its 7" across (18.5cm) and 2.5" at its highest (7cm), I Know I've seen it somewhere before and I've searched through all my books, Files and online Pages, to no avail  but I've got this niggling feeling that I've seen it ID'd before as Czech.
Any Help would be most appreciated
Warmest Wishes,
John

Hi John,
Looks similar to the piece on page 81 of Mark Hills 'Hi Sklo Lo Sklo'. - 'Rosice glassworks ashtray no. 1045, designed by Rudolf Jurnikl and produced from 1962, 6.75 diam.
Hope this helps,
Greg

Thanks Greg!!!
Mark Hill's Book 'Hi Sklo Lo Sklo' is one I do not yet possess, will treat myself to it as soon as I can as I'm coming across so much czech glass recently, most of it I can ID, but occassionally I get a rogue one!!!LOL
Warmest Wishes,
John

Hey Denver!!,
Don't Worry, I find my Whitefriars Too!!! I'm out most days looking, not just for glass, have diversified into other areas! I'm also doing bits for the MoJ, acting as Estates Manager for my cousin (he has 15 properties) and running my own Genealogy Research business!! I spoke to Terry last Sunday at Hayes, looked out for you, were you there?

Good stuff, I did actually find something Czech yesterday but it had been a while. Sounds like you are keeping very busy then, good to hear. I was at Hayes but only early and only for a short while due to my back playing me up as per normal. I talk to Terry regularly on the phone he is the only person I stay in contact with from my old front desk colleagues.
