Title: Lilac slag Thistle and Thorn sugar bowl Greener?
Post by: Lustrousstone on October 16, 2010, 01:23:47 PM
I know it comes in carnival and we don't know who made it. But what about the milk and slag ones. Are they Greener? Or don't we know that either? This a nice pastel lilac slag sugar bowl.

I have a milk glass one with a pedestal foot and slight differences in the pattern interpretation. It has a Greener mark inside (I assume you've checked the inside of the slag one?)

In "Magic and Mystery 2" I put forward a theory that Greener / Jobling made the Thistle & Thorn Carnival pieces.

Thanks Glen. I hadn't read that bit. (I have now). There's no mark though, but Greener was certainly a lot more adventurous than perhaps Davidson or Sowerby when it came to slag colours so...
