Picked this up today not sure in my ignorance whether it was Mdina? an email and a bit of research says it's IoW
Just thought you may want to have a look 18" high Aurene? lovely colours blues, greens, gold, spiralling trail from the snapped of pontil mark right up the vase.

Very, very nice example, I like the slightly more club like shape too. Check around the snapped pontil mark and the edge of the base of the bottle too for a signature (you never know, unless you have already had a really good look!). These are known as attenuated bottles.
Aurene comes in loads of variations in terms of colour.
Here's mine, still searching for the shorter version.... http://picasaweb.google.com/Johnmj100/EarlyIsleOfWightStudioGlass#5484549765600200162 (click to the left for a few other examples).

A really nice example of an IOW Aurene attenuated bottle. Lovely colours. :hiclp: Yours is the taller of the two sizes. They were either approx 37 cm or 46 cm high. Some more examples of Aurene are here: http://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/aurene (http://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/aurene)
