Thomas  -  may I ask if you have many jugs, and assume they are all 'behind glass' - I guess you wouldn't want to be dusting these pieces too often. ;)

here in austria we have a long cold snowy winter - and one of my " duties " - to clean and polish all that winter long  :phew:
but you know - i do it with passion and patience - collecting often hurts  :P

Your displays are gorgeous.....  I wish my collection was displayed like that....   :mrgreen:  Actually, I wish my collection was nice enough to deserve it....  :thup:   

Now I will ask you a really hard question.... of all of the beautiful pieces you own...... Can we see a pic of your favorite....  a description, and an explanation of why......  ??

Thomas - our thanks for sharing your collection.   Candidly, I must admit I could do with some of your display cabinets as much as anything else.  Anyway, winter has started, so get your duster out. ;)

But quite understandable, Carolyn.
In a rush of friendliness, talking with a small group of interested folk here, it can be easy to forget who else might be looking in and taking notes of details, but with malice in mind.

sorry that i had to have them deleted but you are right - actually my house is rather secure ! 4 coi carps in my pond - well trained in close-combat :-) two alert systems - and quite a few snappily neighbours  :no: :no: :no: and the police station is 100 m away from me !

I gave out the security details of my house, in another thoughtless and friendly rush of telling folk how to put extra security in place.....

then a kind moderator removed it for me. It was a bit silly, giving out the details! :-[

I was afraid it was something like that. And so they must remain off (we wouldn't want to give the evil people any more ammunition than they are getting now). But they were very pretty pictures.  :chky: :chky: :chky:
