Looks like the real thing to me. Nice find!

Thanks Anita'
"creptune" good one, :24:

Is the rim ground on the bowl? Could it possibly have been ground down? Not that I know the slightest thing about Loetz, but it would be good to see what Craig and Warren say.
-
I think that would be normal Cathy. The proportions look right.
-
It is properly Lötz ö=oe hence Loetz as an lazy keyboard alternative.
-
Frank how do you do the O with two dots on on the keyboard?

In Windows typing double quotes " followed by o (upper or lower) or if that does not work, hold ALT key and type 0246 (lower) 0214 (upper)

The complete character set is available on windows machines by accessing the Character Map, where you can copy and then paste from all the characters available.
Find it by going to the windows start button (usually at the bottom of the screen), then choose all programs, accessories, system tools and then character map. I have a shortcut to it on my desktop.
Or bookmark this page: http://www.alt-codes.net/ but this list is not comprehensive.
