Title: Fratelli Toso (?) Knob Cylinder PW Info Needed

hi all

I purchased this PW..recognizing the label from this board as Fratelli Toso...yes?.....
I am interested in knowing if ID is correct , possible age  and WHY does it have a hole in the bottom.....???

4 1/2" H...

Yes, it is Fratelli Toso from the 1960s. It is a handled paperweight. The hole in the bottom goes into the sommerso cavity. They are all made that way. Why is hard to say. There doesn't seem to be any purpose in not closing the hole. They just decided not to, I guess. It does make it more interesting.
