Title: Amber ovoid vase

Measures 21cm, the whole vase is amber glass, base and body. The base has a slight pontil scar, it has been smoothed.

that is perhaps the hardest shape of all to identify as it flows naturally from the blowpipe. It is a single colour - bottle brown - and does not need finishing, hence the absence (oh tell me you didn't notice) of a pontil mark. The only secondary operation after snap-off is smoothing out the neck.

This means that it was made at high speed, the glass team was most efficient, the design was born from efficiency and not from esotheric or aesthetic aspirations. I'd guess that translates to sunny Poland (and I'm not excluding all other options).

Very similar to a contemporary Ikea product.
