That's just reminded me, Frank, The Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh has massive glass doors, all engraved, I think with images of Mary Erskine and events from her life, made for the "new" school building in Ravelston Dykes - circa mid-late '60s. (The school itself was founded in 1694.)

It's a "sister" school to George Watson's - Merchant Company.

Perhaps you can get in touch with them and ask for pictures and details Sue? The we could add that to the site too  :thup:
