Title: Christopher Dresser - how to find missing part, cruet set.
Post by: singingyamada on November 07, 2010, 04:30:30 AM
hello
I have recently bought this Christopher Dresser  cruet set knowing the diamond shaped glass dish was missing.  Is there a site for where people list specific things they are looking for?
Thanks

You could try www.replacements.com in the USA, a treasure trove of stuff. Good luck. Carol

thanks
I can see this being a life long and most likely unsuccessful search unless I can find a glass maker to make the peice that was missing.  Oh dear another reason to go to shops ect...

I suspect getting a replacement made would be the easier (and probably the cheaper) route.

You'll probably find someone closer to home... but if you get completely stuck then here in the UK Steve Bradley is one of the best folk (in terms of skill and price) for replacements: http://www.bradleycrystal.co.uk/
