Title: Golden amber wrythen decanter with leaf stopper
Post by: chriscooper on November 23, 2010, 02:58:17 PM
Any thoughts on a possible make, quite delicate, some signs of wear on the base which has a ground out and polished pontil mark, the stopper shows signs of use so I don't think it was made yesterday.
Checked out Powell/Whitefriars (in hope) that it could be  :sun: cannot really find anything that matches this wrythen style.
Thanks for looking.

Stopper reminds me of some pieces by Simon Gate for Orrefors, might be worth looking in that direction.

Here's an example of what I'm thinking of... http://www.antiquehelper.com/item/337241
