I have seen this vase variously described as from either the Avena or Pinus range!
Can anyone give me the exact range please? And any other info. TIA

7 inches, just under 18cms......
-
It looks like 3729 then, catchy name isn't it. ;D
Avena: http://www.designlasi.com/en/content/avena-3429-1
Avena in black: http://www.designlasi.com/en/content/avena-vase-3429-wirkkala-tapio
Could not find an example of Pinus on that site, but looking in Smoke and Ice it appears they are heavily textured, 16.5cm tall and much wider in proportion than your vase.

Aaah yes now I see, it's all in the number ::).............thanks for your patience!
See what happens when I wander away from Whitefriars..........get myself all confuddled!

Not my clearest and most straightforward of posts Emmi, come to think of it, how many of mine are like that? :-X
For future reference: designed by Tapio Wirrkala in 1965 for Iittala, catalogued in two heights 175 and 240mm and numbered 3729.
That really goes against the grain.... ;D
