Hello, im new to this site and am trying to find out who the maker of my vase is, can anyone advise me? It would be much appreciated.

Hello Ruth, and welcome to the GMB. It will help with a possible identification if you will also show good clear pictures of the top rim and the bottom of your vase. Look forward to seeing some more pics. :)

This is Ingridglas from Germany, late sixties/ early seventies and often found in milk glass.

I'm sure I've seen this particular textured stuff in neodynium glass fairly often too.
-
Amethyst yes, Neodymium I have not seen yet.
-
I've never seen it in milk glass! It is a very distinctive texture, the pieces are well made - and often quite substantial.
I wonder if the differences in the colours seen has any geographical significance? I've only seen clear and neo. (I'm in Scotland. :nix:)

It is still Ingridglas :D

i was abit confused because all the other pieces i have found have a rounded rim where this one has a sharp cut rim, wondered if it had been tampered with. Have now found pieces with the same type of rim. Thankyou for all your help
