:hi: I am pretty sure this is Murano ( or Venetian) :X: but I could be wrong. Of course I am going by the amount of copper Aventurine that is in it.
It is really pretty. I actually had a hard time taking pics of it to show the Bubbles, the aventurine, the swirls, and the (kinda) quilted effect. Please do not mind IF I post extra pics here -- as I took some with a Flash, and without a flash for the quilting pattern/bubbles....found it hard to get a good pic due to the sparkle...
It is:
~ about 3.25 inches HIGH
~ about 8 inches LONG
~ about 6 inches WIDE
Lots of aventurine, and there are bubbles in the quilted design, and the aventurine/bubbles all swirl. The base show some very good wear. In some pictures it looks black/or dark brown -- but when I held up to the light source -- clearly it is amethyst in color.
Murano/Venetian ?? To me it has all the bells and whistles I like. Lots of Aventurine/bubbles/quilted pattern......and Glass.....LOL. Any idea on age or maker for this one.
I Love it !!! TIA :kissy:

I would say definitely Venetian, but I don't know who did it. It looks like a well made bullicante bowl/ashtray. Nice find, Rose.
