Title: Unusual Cased Pink Swirl / Marble-Like Glass Vase-Murano?

This small 7" inch vase has a very thick casing of clear glass over an opaque pink and white swirl glass.  It has a partial label on it's base, but I can't figure out where it's from or who might have designed it.  It feels Italian to me.  Please let me know your opinion?  Thanks so much!
