I think it's either French or Belgian, very flowy lines, and stylistically, it sort of shouts 50s-60s to me. But I could be wrong about any of that.
Quite big, 30 cm high, 10 cm across at the base, about 14.5 at the top. It's not entirely round, it goes a bit towards having 3 'corners'.
I've trouble finding anything similar. If it is French and/or Belgian, that period is not very well documented. I just hope someone sees some style similarities and can point me in the right direction.

?????????????? cristal d'arques ???

Cristal d'Arques is certainly a possibility. I would feel more comfortable though if I could actually find one with that attribution, or something that looks a little similar. Or someone who has seen one with a label.

Is it the same as this one Astrid?

Yes, that's exactly the same vase, though a much better picture. Too bad the seller doesn't know an origin either...

Ah, due to the previous posts I decided to have another go at ebay.com and found a specialist category for Crystal D'Arques - and my vase, a seller with a marked one. Apparently indeed Crystal D'Arques, lead crystal, and still in production today according to this ebay seller:

Thanks everyone for helping me solve it!

Lucked out.
As I had posted a long time ago something that I thought looked similar -- so it was still just a guess.
Is the top edge of Astids - as wavy as the one in the pic? Can't tell by the angles the pic was taken at. So just wondering....??

Yes, it is just as wavy on top, I'm very sure it's exactly the same vase. I'm still experimenting with taking the right sort of photographs - especially with clear glass it's not always easy. That one was done with the vase lying down on its side (which doesn't help). If everything goes well, I'll have a cube soon and can hopefully use some better angles in the future.
