Asked about this maker recently and had some useful replies,many thanks for those,since then I've found a total blank,does anyone have any more info' please, ;D

Keith can you take photo of the base in natural light so the light bounces off the flat base - and appears "white" and the signatures appear black. That way the refraction and colours are not apparent and you can get a good result. I have attached a couple of examples where the problem oof distraction from colours and refraction was removed by using the bouncing light.

Thanks Ross,I did see the link but when I google Suffolk Glass all I find is a window and commercial site and nothing on David Brett,you would not believe how many times I've tried to photograph the base of this weight,these are the best I could do,bouncing the light does not seem to work with this piece :hb2:
