Not sure who made this poor battered little thing  (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=280610136246&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg), but not Clichy. I suspect a Boho factory or St Mandé.  Any views?

The current view is that these are St. Mande. There will be an article in this year's PCA Bulletin by Philip Ferrer (hope I spelled his name right) that discusses this genre of weights. So make sure you renew your PCA membership and get the Bulletin that will be out this coming May.

Thanks Andy - I look forward to reading it. (Je pense qu'il s'appelle 'Philippe Frère').

Best wishes for the New Year to all.
