Title: Loetz Cobalt Cisele

Happy New Year!

I found a neat piece today that I believe is Loetz Cobalt Cisele. I have compared it to Warren’s piece and to the pieces on Alfredo’s site (see the comparison pic) and feel pretty confident …but there is always that nagging doubt when it comes to IDing glass.

However, I have been unable to find pics of this particular shape. I am seeing similar handles on other Loetz shapes but not like this.

Am I right?
Anyone info on the shape?
What ever your willing to share…I always appreciate.

Couple follow-up questions... for anyone who wishes to answer.

I take it from Warren's and Alfredo's sites that Cobalt is not common. Why?

Can the same be said for the shape - is it uncommon?

Is this a Marie Kirschner design?
