I have a small collection of Shakspeare glass and recently found this. I figured it would take forever to find out who made it, but once I took a photo of the back I realised (I hope I didn't get this wrong :-[), that it said 'shaks' on it.
It is the most gorgeous piece of glass, very heavy, quite large and very 3D. When held up to the light you can see the colour 'ribbons' literally twirling back and forth through the glass and it looks like a jelly fish - very beautiful!
Enjoy

A gentle smear of talc will usually fill the grooves and make them visible against the black glass.

Hi Ross, thanks - I am sure it's Will Shakspeare but I didn't have my glasses on last night when I posted so I couldn't see the photo clearly and thought I'd better cover myself. But tonight, with my glasses on, I can see it clearly again ;D
