Title: Structured blue-green vase - ID = Hirschberg
Post by: astrid on January 07, 2011, 04:36:30 PM
It's 25 cm high, roughly 13 by 9 cm at the base and top (but quite an irregular shape), I think mold-blown. There doesn't seem to be much wear at the base, but the glass itself feels quite hard and the style and colour don't feel very modern to me, so I still think it might be 60s-70s.

As to origin, no idea. German most likely, but it might be Scandinavian or perhaps Dutch.

Any ideas welcome!

Hi Astrid!
It´s a Hirschberg without any doubt. I´ve got the same vase with a tiny fragment of a sticker - just big
enough for a positive ID. Datewise I´d agree with you. If 70´s it should be the earlier years, before the
colourful labels were in use.

Thanks very much, Dirk.  :hiclp:   And a good answer for me, wondeful that it fits my collection of German 50s-70s glass.
