Title: trying to assess value of art glass vase
Post by: sunnymom3 on January 08, 2011, 02:27:35 AM
One of our relatives has an art glass vase we were told is Tiffany. On bottom there is a fancy type T imprinted,an on either side of T is a G and a C. There doesnt seem to be any other marks. I could not find info online to verify that TGC would be indicator of Tiffany. I do know it is very old.

Hi and welcome to the board.

For a positive confirmation we'd really need to see photos of the item and the mark in close up, as sometimes items are found with fake marks.

However, to get you started, take a look at these pages of Tiffany marks and see if you can match yours to begin with:

If you still need advice or a second opinion please do post again with photos. :)
