Title: ID Ruby vase please

 ;) could you help with this vase my nan has had it since the 70's.10inches tall.I know its not Whitefriars :-[ its a lovely deep burgundy colour.thanks jeanniegal

I think the base shot above belongs to your amber / clear one Jeanniegal. :)

Czech or German would be my guess. Can't narrow it down further than that, though.

No, its blow moulded, then flashed, then cut. The Sklo Union factories' output was, to all intents and purposes, pressed glass.

Maybe Czech (not Bohemian) but probably one of the factories using Bohemia on the label. Maybe German

This vase also turns up in a deep blue colour - there seem to be a fair number of them here in the uk - it has been discussed before - quite recently, but no conclusions as to maker.

hi Anne and i really am grateful for all your help.I love my glass and i have learnt so much since i joined.I am so pleased that members have taken an interest in my vases, i have got some other bits i have collected but i think i better give you a rest Anne ;D Thankyou all
