I don't know but it's pretty. It reminds a little of Schott Zwiesel vases I have seen, the use of bubbles in part of the vase and also the colour? although I don't have much to reference, so possibly way off beam here. I have just had a look and found a 'cylinder' vase cased in clear but it did look much thicker walled than this one. But still may be worth looking at?

thought about the loeffelhardt florida zwiesels as well at first sight.... should search for this not for ikora any more...
-
I'm not best placed to say it's not WMF Ikora :) , it may well be I wouldn't know, but was just trying to suggest another option to look at as well.

This doesn't look like Ikora to me. Not sure what it is, though. Zwiesel a definite possibility. Or, could it be a Sklo Union piece?
-
It´s not Ikora, but I think quite close... Karl Wiedmann also worked for Gralglas in the 60´s and
70´s. Your vase looks like one of his designs to me. I´ve got several of his pieces in my collection.
I´ll post some pictures for comparison this evening. :)

It is NOT Sklo Union. The Sklo Union factories made PRESSED glass almost exclusively. :hb1: :hb1:

Hi, it would be great to see your wiedmann/gral glas pieces... thanks for all your interesting thoughts so far...
it's not pressed sklo, but reminds of exbor a little...,
never owned a cylindrical exbor vase...
I only own a hlava/exbor which is flat polished at base...

Obviously a signed unique piece, but there are soome similarities...

Ivo thank you
I think it's indeed wiedmann for gralglass....

Here they are... The left one´s signed to the base. The right one isn´t, but personally I don´t
doubt it´s a Gralglas vase as well. The technique is completely identical.
The cylindrical vase is 24cm tall. Would that match your piece? It seems your vase simply didn´t
get as much powder and bubbles as mine. Anyway - nice find!

mine is a little bigger.... 27cm
but size isn't everything... >:D
