Title: Clear glass candlestick bark like finish?

Just wondering if this has any significance, rounded concave base, bark like finish and appears to have a "snapped off" finish to bottom of interior. 3 1/2 inchs tall x 2 3/4 diameter. Any thoughts appreciated John

I've think these are made in Taiwan.  I could be wrong though. I have a pair and a little ashtray that I think is the same maker and I think they're lovely.
