Wow! You're lucky! The UK Antiques Roadshow rarely has any glass on it, and if they do it's one token piece, usually Lalique or something that's 'well-known' by Jo Public! >:( In fact, all the UK antiques shows very rarely if ever seem to show glass of any sort on them! It's great to see the American show celebrating not only glass, but glass paperweights! And celebrating their own 'home-grown' paperweights, too! :hiclp:
Thanks for sharing that clip, Rose! :kissy:

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Crimp rose paperweights rock!

I'm afraid I appeared on an Antiques Roadshow in Harrogate which was broadcast.
They do limit the number of pieces you can take, and it was in my very early days of collecting...
Thats my excuse...

We went to the filming of the Antiques Roadshow at Bletchingly last year. The two ladies in front of us in the queue were actually filmed and appeared on the show! They had .... wait for it ... a rare Lalique vase! :24:

Yes, good clip.
Anyone getting the chance to visit Wheaton Arts should do so.
Not only are the museum and glass blowing centre superb, but in the small areas of land around the centre I compiled my first list of 30 North American bird species, which included really handsome examples of Hairy & Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, Yellow Warbler, Northern Cardinal, Orchard Oriole, a pair of Red-tailed Hawk and an impressive Turkey Vulture. Oh, yes, and a sadly dead Ruby-throated Hummingbird (but superb colours).
