Any idea as to the identity of this piece? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Don't think it's Whitefriars but others will know better than me.

Hi Anne, I agree, it looks more likely to be Scandinavian. Anyway, thanks for replying and keeping my post current, maybe someone will recognise it.

I have it's cousin, a stoppered decanter. It's quite a rosy-browny sort of smoke colour, not black, blue or green.
It's been waiting for an id for some time.

Hi it would be great to see a picture of it attached to this post, maybe then it would jog someone's memory, and we might get a positive ID.

Not wishing to put a dampener on things but we rarely get attributions for jugs. Italy could be another option.

Germany so SO small we tend to overlook it.
