New acquisition and just had to show ;D. The jug is huge and very heavy.

Nice one Anne.

:hiclp: It's such a gorgeous, rich marigold lustre. Well done, Anne.

Very very nice indeed

Congratulations, Anne. What beautiful pieces and such gorgeous iridescence! You did very well to find those as they are really unusual shapes to come across in the UK. :hiclp: :hiclp:
I need to mention though, they are Imperial's Lustre Rose pattern, not Brockwitz Rose Garden. Although a pitcher is known in Brockwitz Rose Garden pattern, no Carnival tumblers have yet been found, so you can imagine how my heart leapt with desire when I read your post heading! :o In fact I nearly dropped off my chair ;D

Here's my marigold Rose Garden pitcher, for comparison.

Whoops, sorry to have startled you Glen :o :)
Thanks for the correction  I can now see that the Brockwitz one is very different. And I think I now need to refer to mine as a "pitcher" not a jug.
Perhaps t'other Anne could amend the heading to read "= Imperial's Lustre Rose pattern " :X:

:D Anne! I wish you could have seen me when I read the subject line. "Startled" would have been an understatement. I think I probably turned all colours of the rainbow. ;D The Rose Garden Carnival tumbler is one piece that I have dreamed of for years. It's my "holy grail".
But the Lustre Rose pieces are gorgeous. You really did well to find those here - a real "find". Nice one!

Well done, Anne :rah: - and Glen, I'll keep my eyes peeled for your heart's desire.
