please can you give us any information on this amber bowl that i bought today from a charity shop, thanks.
-
It looks like a Stuart fruit bowl in the Stratford pattern
-
thanks Lustrousstone for your quick reply.
-
has anybody got any other idea as i want to list on ebay and want to give correct description as possible thanks.
-
Patience please!!! Not everybody visits every day. Some answers take years to find. Have you researched my suggestion?
-
yes i have searched but cannot find this shape in amber, many thanks.
-
I'm afraid that I don't agree with Christine, since the concentric rings have an angular appearance and not the curved bulges that are recognisable as Stuart's Stratford pattern. But maybe I'm looking at it wrong..........
On the other hand, on second look, I don't think the amber is right for Stuart's either

thanks for the reply Nigel, the easiest part is purchasing the glass but trying too identify it is a different story, especially when you are trying to list it on ebay, thanks Iain.
-
I agree with Nigel , the Stratford range only has the rings round the lower part .
-
I only said it looked like, not that it was.
