HELLO EVERYONE
More IOW UK hospice glass. We have had this piece for some time trying to make up our minds as to whether it is supposed to be like this or it is the result of damage. The reason for the debate is that the edge of the layer that stops below the neck is not sharp. It curves over towards the body and has a set, glossy edge. Might it have had some kind of fitting at the neck that covered this section up? It is very pretty in the sunlight. The bubbles in the glass catch the light and it sparkles. It is heavy.
size: 14 cms tall and 14 cms diameter

I think (??) spelled Benny Motzfeldt ?? as that is what Google is saying?? but I am not sure myself

Oh, and Benny is a lady, not a gezza! Although young Hobbsy mentioned designer and maker, he forgot to say - Norway

Rose is right about the spelling, and the piece in the link from her is the same design, although there are other shapes in the series.

Thank you all very much for this information. I am glad I pondered so long: when it first arrived in a box of bric-a-brac the person who unpacked it was about to throw it out, thinking it damaged. I rescued it and put it on a shelf and periodically returned and picked it up.
We shall put it on ebay and I will place a link in the shop when I do. Thanks again
