I just wanted to show off my new Skrdlovice addition to my Czech glass collection. With the much appreciated help of Robert (bOBA), I know it was designed by Jan Broz, pattern number 5344. I am a very happy lady. ;D

Are you running out of space yet Anik? Do you care? ;D

THAT is gorgeous!!!!!!

Thank you, John and Emmi... ;D
P.S. John, the key is to plan and organise space... My plan is to relocate a few of my husband's things and then, voila... I've organised space for more glass >:D 8) I'm such a clever gal.

Just so you don't feel too bad about running out of space, I thought I would give you some company. My two latest Skrdlovice pieces, one a monster 'Andromeda' at 12" and over 9 1/2 lbs. I was going to show it here anyhow, as it's the first one I've from the States with an import label on it, "Queen Lace Crystal," a company that is still in business.
For anyone interested, I've got my Skrdlovice (bOBA and Jindrich assisted) at https://picasaweb.google.com/lasilove/CzechoslovakiaSkrdlovice?pli=1&gsessionid=kkAu_8xEPihD4Vxi6XuFRA# and other collections in different files.

:o ...... :24:
 Had the same thought, but did not want to say it, even as a Joke... I was :-[
There are always nooks to fill in one house with more glass..

Anne, there's no need to relocate my husband just yet -- my collection only consists of 35 Czech pieces, 3 Wiedmann candleholders, and a handful of 'other' small items. But I'll keep it in mind as my collection grows. ;)
David, 12" is a monster (but a very pretty coloured monster) :o! My shelves can only accommodate pieces which are less than 11" tall... With anything bigger, I'd have to relocate the TV, but I'm pretty sure my husband would notice that :spls:.
Thank you for the replies!
P.S. David, I've taken a look at your album, and you've got some really wonderful items in your Skrdlovice collection... My most favourites are the ones you've labeled as 178, 609, 356, 589 (never seen anything like it), 011 and 641. Of course, I also like the Vizner pieces. You are a very lucky fellow.

Anik:
Thanks for the compliment. Lucky fellow sounds better than the deranged obsessive that my wife often calls me. You'd me surprised at how many of the pieces you like I found in Canada, a few less than two miles from my house, and including 342, which I've never seen elsewhere. I love the Vizner pieces, which I have a harder time finding in Canada.
The search never ends.

David, as long as our spouses limit themselves to using terms of 'endearment', we're alright. It's when they start hurling our glass at us that we've got a problem... ;D
