Hi Robert, the bottom bowl is Sowerby, pattern number 2/2631, shown in this catalogue page: [link (http://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/glass_catalogues/sowerbyglass_catalogues/sowerbyglass_catalogue_list39-06.htm)]

Still working on the top bowl, I think it might be Czech...

Hi Robert,

There is a pattern so similar to your first picture of the Art Deco bowl on pressglass pavillinon,  towards the bottom of the plates and bowls page,  that I can't help thinking it might be the same maker.....do ave another look.  It has the square shape in the centre,  so like yours.....but not quite!
I'll keep looking!!

Well thank you Wayne  Rosieposie and Christine, i had another look and it is the nearest design, I do not speck German so I'm guessing stolle niemen is the company who made the piece?.I bought them because of the color and design but I'm not sure i will start colacting bowl,s than again i bet every one says that at the beginning of there bowl collection!

Stolle Niemen is the manufacturer. It was a Polish glass company.

Hi Robert,  it isn't the same,  but has great similarities,  so thought I would send you this link:

If only to add to the ones that aren't correct, and to nudge your question up to the top again!

There are lots of that design for sale on eBay Robert, so there is a choice for buyers.....there is even a complete set as well.

I went through all the Art Deco Worldwide glass this morning for you,  as I dont think yours is Art Nouveau,  but that was all I found.....but I will still keep looking.....as I am also trying to find Paul S's lovely bowl as well, and they will probably be found in similar type listings.

Trouble is,  I keep seeing things I want,  and my watch list is now full!! :thud:

Hi Robert,  I have just spent 3 hours trying to relocate this thread because I thought I had found your bowl, but it is different....but similar enough that it is possibly the same maker......I was so excited as well!!!
