Hi
Could anyone help me to identify this piece please? I saw one some months ago for sale on the internet, but can't remember where! It's very similar in shape to a Gul vase but I haven't been able to find any examples with handles... 32cm tall.
Many thank in advance for any info :)

Sorry, can't help with the identification but welcome! fellow Northamptonian.

I got excited then when I saw I had a reply...
Thanks, Yesvil :)

No, not Holmegaard, id requests for these decorative jugs crop up quite frequently but as far as I know they remain unidentified. The stock answer for unknown jugs is Poland and it is probably right more often than not....

i rather think Empoli or Germany for these but i cannot prove it.

I had one about 8 years ago and I'm pretty sure it was ID'd as by Kaj Franck for Nuutjarvi(?)

Morning
Thanks for your replies.
Trying to identify glass is one of the most maddening things! I have so many gorgeous pieces and not a clue who made them - not that it's that important really as they're in my collection rather than items I will sell - but I like to find out at least some info about each piece.
It's really bugging me that I can't remember where I saw the identical jug for sale - it had full details of designer / maker and it was on a reputable site that I'd trust for ID. Grrrrr!

Even reputable sites can be wrong... What is the base like?

Hi Lustrousstone
You're right, of course ;D
I don't know how clear it is from this pic, but there's a round (but nowhere near perfectly circular) pontil mark on the base. No other markings though.
Thanks,
Lulu
