Title: Heavy Hand Blown Red Cased Vase w/ Swirl Trail Base
Post by: dorian_graye on February 12, 2011, 06:40:39 PM
Hi.  This vase has a fire red interior encased in an orange glass.  The base has these swirly trails in clear glass.  It's really heavy and stands 12.5" inches tall.  Any idea where it might have come from?

Is that a matte base, if so China perhaps

Yes, perhaps.  Though, from what I understand, not all pieces that have a matte base are Chinese.  I think some Italian pieces also have matte or rough bases.
