i have a clear glass paperweight with a blue domed interior that is covered in controlled bubbles of ait, no makers marks anywhere.....is it whitefriars, or caithness etc
any help for steve in leeds, england apreciated

I'd personally rule out Caithness, I don't think they've ever done this sort of very simple controlled bubble weight.
I wouldn't have a clue about wfs and I'm not hot on pws anyway. :wsh:

I think you can rule out W/Fs if you look on whitefriars.com you may find it in mistaken identities . Hows my smelling after a couple of clarets ...? bottles that is :t: :ho: But i am enjoying life . :girlcheer: :24: :rah: :hi: Smell check says its OK . :thup:

Interesting there are paperweights by Per Lutken for Holmegaard with a similar shape - but not colour. The bright colour, and no markings, makes me suspect Murano.

I think it's more likely Czech and was sold Jaffe Rose label. I have an amber one

Pilgrim Glass in the US used to make paperweights in this style also.
