Title: Help with Centrepiece
Post by: dinklepip on February 26, 2011, 06:15:44 PM
Cracking piece which weighs 2kg and stands 8".  Am assuming it is a centrepiece, pressed glass but when you tap it, it sounds distinctly like crystal.  Am I correct in thinking that it could be an American Flint Glass piece.  Stumped at the moment, don't know where to look

Not sure at all -- but wonder *IF* it might be related to this item of mine:  http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,18413.0.html (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,18413.0.html)  I called it beading.  Will take a look around to see if I can find something.......or anything  :-\

It could also be lead crystal or English flint glass. Both were pressed
