More of my finds. Again another miniature. Could this be St Mande? Thanks Andrew

Hello Andrew,
IMHO your pretty paperweight is not Italian. My first thought was perhaps Bohemia/Silesia or St Mande/unknown French maker.
Others will be able to elaborate.
Nice find! ...... Lily :)

Thanks Lily, not an easy one to place.
ps my Gran and my Niece are Lily's too....great name.

Why, thank you! ;D

Up until recently this would have been called St. Mande, but more recently it is best to call it Unknown French. It is an antique and not Italian.

I have a weight that I think is by the same maker as it shares several canes with this one and the size,
I have yet to identify it but French, Belgian or "Bohemian" are all candiates for it's heritage.
Definitly not Italian.
The rose in this weight is closer to known Boh samples than to the French samples I have seen so I am leaning towards Boh.

Hi Guys
I agree - antique French, not Italian or anywhere else. We are in the 'unknown French manufacturer' territory. St Mandé, Grenelle, maybe someone else - yet to be confirmed.
