Could we have a picture of it in natural light, and one of the base, and maybe a close up of the vine?

It's either Hazel Atlas or Jeanette, the clematis pattern. I can never remember which company it is, and the pattern has an official name, I can't remember that either. But I've compared the photo with a plate (yes, I have set of the stuff, which is why it's daft I can never remember what the names are) and that's exactly what it is. American depression glass.

They are NOT uranium glass. They're just colourless glass with a hefty manganese content (it was used to remove to neutralise the green colour the sand used often gave to clear glass, as in coke bottles). Sue is right(ish) though. They are Jeannette Glass in the Floral (aka Poinsettia) pattern (made 1931-1935). Goodness knows why it's poinsettia, as it's actually passion flower leaves! It's a 6-inch plate known as a sherbert. The Floral range is huge and green items, which are uranium, are quite common in the UK. The clear (known as crystal) items of any sort seem to be quite scarce.

Your pictures are a little small though. Larger pictures (make the largest dimension 700 pixels when you resize) on a black background would help give final confirmation.

Beware; all that glows is not uranium!!

Ah, green might be common, but some of the rare/scarce items are found in the UK rather than in the US.
