...................  Can anybody please help me to identify this piece,i have inherited a collection recently.. ....I will be adding more pieces shortly....

... I think this piece is 19century english ......

Hi and welcome.
I don't know anything about your glass piece (not my area), sorry.
However, you've put a lot of links in here, only one works and the image is sideways on.

I'm sure one of our Moderators will sort the extra links out, but could we ask you not to put links in the title in future - perhaps; "Is this 19th century English?" would have given your readers a better idea of what to expect, and would attract the attention of somebody who does know this area of glass.
Also, would you be kind enough to only put one piece of glass in a thread. This keeps the discussions on track.

Hi Scott,

I have tidied up your message to remove the excess links and to change the title of the thread. I have also moved your threads from the British & Irish forum to the general Glass forum as this is where initial requests for ID should be posted. If we get confirmation of a particular country then a Moderator will move the thread to the relevant forum.

Having said, that, your covered goblet does look to be of an Irish or English style.

DIMENSIONS:-       Width of base 8cm squared
                           Height from base to top 21cm ...Width 11.5cm Diameter at the widest part... Hope these dimensions help.....
