Title: identification please - vases

Can anyone tell me anything about the vases.?  They are described as "A pair of opaque white glass vases 18th / 19th century, of lightly spiralled form"  They are about 6 inches tall (compare the Whitefriar inkwell next to them)

I'd need convincing they weren't ceramic. Looks like thin glaze at the bottom of the RH one

They do look more like ceramic than glass. Martin, do you have pics of the bases please?
