Title: Art Deco Knife Rests. Maker???? Help please.

They are Art Deco  and lovely stylised frosted birds......I would love any help to find out who made them please.
Bought from France, and I think they may well be French......over to the EXPERTS!!

I can't help, Rosie.
There was a chap who lived beside my Dad who collected knife rests, I was treated to a viewing of his collection and I found some interesting Australian ones for him, but he didn't have a clue who made any of them - no markings and no known (to George anyway) ways of finding out.

They just look too good to be 'ordinary'......please will someone say they have seen these before and know where and by whom they were made????? :cry:

Thank you for that Anne,  I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply......
My pictures are rubbish, these are so beautiful (IMHO).
If only they had been signed.  :thud:
