Title: id request for 'small' free form bowl.
Post by: Paul S. on March 18, 2011, 08:28:47 PM
with my limited knowedge of modern 'free form' designs - I'm not much further forward than thinking this is more than likely Scandi (or possibly Italian).    Have tried Leslie Pina, but don't see anything similar, and seems very 'dinky' for a 'free form' piece  -  as I always think of these things as much bigger, and this one measures just 135mm long, so really quite small.      Under light, as you can see, it is a quite deep amethyst and the small, almost Murano type base shows a fair amount of wear, so guess not exactly made yesterday.   I haven't seen anything similar before, so am at a loss as to maker/origin, and grateful if anyone has any ideas they'd like to share.     thanks for looking. :)

thanks Ivo  -  personally, I was going for either Picasso or Henry Moore  ;D.     But seriously, quite distinctive, and with some quality, or so I thought.     Well, if you are stumped, then don't think I stand much chance. :)
