Title: date and origin request for opalescent comport

obviously my month for opalescent glass, and found this comport/cake stand today.      Sadly unmarked, and measuring about 9"/230mm in diameter.    Not a great deal of wear, although would not have thought of very recent manufacture, so age a bit of a mystery.     Don't get a feeling it's British, but may well be wrong, and all thoughts appreciated  -  thanks. :)
